A bit odd that a 66 wouldnt fit in the stock location... on a positive note relocated custom looking turbo setups look awesome.

I guess I should test how it fits with the stock header, I only tested it with the KB header assuming the flange was in the original location. Sure looked like it was though.

Could the exhaust housing be so different in this T66, than on one that was originally built for Buicks, thus making it not fit properly? Anyhow this setup seems to be ok now and I'm going with it.
 
the kb header was probably set up for an oncenter , your 66 is a tangenital

with an oncenter exhaust housing the wheel center is straight up from the center of the flange and the scroll rolled around like a lollipop
, with tangenital vband the wheel center is rolled back and the scroll is straight inline with the flange
