PT7168 Journal Bearing, Ported H compressor cover, Buick 3-bolt housing with a .85 A/R. 76mm Machined from Solid (MFS) compressor wheel and 68mm turbine wheel. This turbo will be capable of supporting 945 flywheel HP.

Like what was said, with good flowing alum heads and proper cam my opinion is an 8" converter with 4500-5000 stall if you are going to use this in competition racing, especially with a .85 exhaust housing.
 
IMO if its a typical 231-250 CID with aluminum heads and cam, 3500-3800 stall is close.
 
My street car with a TE-45A w/66mm exhaust wheel and a Garrett .69 A/R is running a 3600-3800 stall 10" NLU converter, and the race car has a 8" 5000 stall w/a 4 bolt .69 housing on a 70mm Precision BB HPQ, so my "definition" of converter stall must be way than different your's?
 
True stall is at 0 boost, wastegate open, on a transbrake. Flash stall is the most improtant, not for spooling , but for efficiency. Shift points should be 400 to 600 higher than flash stall to run the quickest. Higher isnt always better.
