remapping obd2 computer

Does anyone know where to get software to reflash your obd2 computer? They also call it remapping. I have seen guys with laptops reflash their computers and get great power increase. Just wondering if anyone knew of any software.

i wonder if their is any free software out their.:biggrin: i already have a obd2 cable for a laptop.

It depends on what platform. I think all the free ones are a thing of the past. Check out LS1 edit, TunerCat, and Moates for GM stuff. Import stuff -Hondata, Ford and Dodge stuff - I use Diablosport CMR

That's what's being referred to.. We use EFILIVE. It's loaded on an LT and linked w/ a registered cable.

IMO, the EFILIVE program is hands down the best out there. The forum support is also second to none...
The "free stuff" you refer to, is the demo version of the same program that you purchase...When you make the buy, you receive the cable. It has the license in it, and allows you to "remap" the PCM...
Once you have made the purchase, you can d/l any/all updates @ no added cost....

ok i have the cable. looks like you have to buy it to do any tuning then.
thanks for the help guys. Its either a lot of people don’t know how to remap a obd2 computer or they are getting popcorn for all the fun above.
