Remote oil system

I just purchased a 1987 Turbo-T for my fiance.It has many modifications and it is fast.I was interested in the Poston's Remote oil system.What is the oil pressure at hot idle?The remote system claims at increase of 2 to 4 p.s.i.I figure it couldnt hurt to have extra insurance.The car always ran Mobil 1 10-30.THANK YOU

I have a different brand. Adapter backs off regularly and then leaks badly. I liked the idea, but it hasn't worked out well. FWIW, if all you are after is extra oil pressure, I took off my front cover to change the timing chain, and while it was off, drilled out the oil passages. That worked great. In fact, too great. Because I also installed a high flow oil pump, and now get like 70psi cold, which seems excessive. I don't drive the car a lot right now, but someday I'll get rid of the hi flow pump and just go with the larger oil passages.
