Related up same subject I posted before. What is the easiest way to remove the passanger side valvecover?

to do it when you take you intake off;)

seriously tho it is....I'm pretty sure you wont be able to get it out unless you clear the path by removing everything...i wouldnt even attempt it...later, steve

Remove the downpipe from the turbo and unbolt it from the cat converter/testpipe. This will give you some room to manuever the downpipe out of your way. Also, remove the alternator, its not hard, there are just a couple of bolts. Remove the up-pipe too. I can't think of anything else right now without looking at the car. It will still come out a little hard, you need the right combination of twists, pushes, and pulls and it will come.

If you need any more help, let me know, I just did gaskets this winter.

your gunna hafta take the up pipe off, theres no way getting around that.

take the 4 bolts off the cover
and there is this lil heat shield on the side of the valve cover that protectes the spark plugs from the up-pipe
take that off 2.

the only thing holding it down probli would be the metal oil line that runs to the turbo
it runs along the slanted side of the valve cover
u may hafta to unloosen the fittin at the top so u can move it out of the way somewhat

i got mine done without taking the down pipe off, and i have the 2.5 atr stainless peice :D
