I got a new rear bumper for my GN, but it didnt come with a rub strip and mine is in good shape so im just going to swap it on there. However, I seem to remember trying to take one off before and it wasnt just bolted on? Is this the case, or am i thinking about something else? If anyone has taken one off, please let me know how its done, even if it is just bolts TIA

Yes, it does bolt on. Once you get the bumper off, you'll see the nuts on the backside. It's been a pretty good while back, but I'm pretty sure that's right.

They have what are called speed nuts. Thin little fake nuts that screw onto plastic studs on the back of the strip.
