Replace fuel feed line?

I'm thinking about replacing my supply line from the tank forward in order to 'hopefully" fix a starvation problem I have. Has anyone done this before, if so, how? On a run can't seem to get over 61-62 PSI, hooked up external air to FPR and can get about 95-97 PSI that way at approximately 50 PSI off the compressor. Am I looking at something wrong or.....
