Replaced Powermaster, Volt/Battery light comes on

I replaced the powermaster in my car and I assume I bumped, or wiggled something loose while putting the brake pedal back on the master cylinder. Now the question is what wire would I need to check under the dash? Or better yet, how would I pursuit the resolution of this?

Check your connections on the alternator.

Thanks for the reply, but if I did something under the dash, what impact would the alternator have? Fried the internal components?
