Whats is a good replacement altenator for our cars.Want something that can handle whatever upgrade I put on it(alky injection,inverter for lap top,stereo upgrade,ect.)Thank

Get yours rebuilt locally or do it yourself.

Got mine upgraded to 140a locally a few years ago. Plus the 144’s rebuild pretty cheaply & easily.

There used to be a 200amp upgrade kit for a stocker, I don't remember the link.

Also remembering an impala alternator but it wasn't 200 maybe 160-180amp but a great unit.

Caspers wiring upgrades, you might need these more since old wiring won't efficiently carry the volts etc through your GN.

I gained back .8v in my GTO from updated alt wiring (pos & grounds). My GN regularly sees 13.9 to 14.5v from all the Caspers upgrades.
