Replacing distributer 98 GMC

I changed out the intake gaskets today on my pickup and now have a 1345 code. Looks like we got the distrubuter in wrong! Anyone know how to get it back in right?

Put #1 cyl. on top dead center then put the rotor to the triangle with a #8 in it. The base of the dist. has two triangles on it . One has a 6 for 6cyl. and a #8 for a 8 cyl.They are very small and are where the cap meets the dist. base. Hope that helps.
