I'm replacing my GN driver side motor mount with the HR Parts one.

What is the best way to raise the motor slightly to allow removal of stock mount and install new one? I figured using a floor jack with a 3/4 inch piece of plywood to distribute the weight of motor/trans?

Thanks in advance for the advice!

Yup. Or a thicker piece of block. Make sure you do not damage the oil pan. So choose the point of contact wisely. You also gotta have room to out the mount in.
