Has anyone replaced the drain lines that run down the front a-pillars. How do you get the tubes into the pillar?

Mine are starting to dry rot.

Yes I Have.

I Purchased Clear Hose From Home Depot(same Size).. You Will Need To Remove The Headliner. (i Installed A Factory Astro Roof On My Gn).. I Used Coat Hanger In The Frt Pillar Posts, takes Some Twisting And Playing Around But It Worked. Please Note The Rear Drain Hoses Empty Into The Inner Quarters. I Did Not Like This Idea As The Water Could Cause Rust. I Removed The Qtr Lower Trim And The Bolt In Silver Panel To Access The Front Inner Qtr. I Took A Small Hole Saw And Drilled The Top Of The Inner Rocker. I Then Drilled A Hole In The Rocker Inner(near The Frame In Frt Of The Inner W-house. I Epoxy Primed The Drill Area, then Installed Rubber Gromets In Both Holes. I Run The New Drain Hose All The Way Out. The Water From The Rear Drains Will Not Run Into My Inner Quarters.. I Got The Idea (clear Hose) From A New Cad. Cts That I Worked On(the Co That Installed The Moonfoof Used This Type) Be Sure To Buy 4 Small Hose Clamps As The Factory Clip Retainers Will Not Hold Tight Enough.. Oh Btw, You May Want To Replace The W-strip And Lube The Assy While Your That Far...good Luck..

thanks for the idea, my drain lines seem to be glued or melted into the front pillars. I think I'm going to use force to get them out and then install the clear tubing.
