resort question

We have been invited to a wedding in Oahu in November. What can you recommend as a nice resort away from Honolulu? We will have a three year old and a 5 year old with us so a nice place that is family friendly would be perfect.

What do you think of Marriott's Ko Olina Beach Club on the west shore? Their website says they have construction going on. What do you think about the Turtle Bay resort on the north shore?

Any recomendations or ideas would really be appreciated. Thanks! Paul

I have stayed at both, and personally like Ko Olina better. There are little lagoons for the children to swim in.

The construction is "new" work being done to develop the region. Great place for the kids, and not far from Waikiki (30-40 mins) for the nightlife.
