i looked over the list i got from a forum member and it was holy crap alot of stuff lol figured it would be easier and better to go this route and throw the ic on it like the one posted in the link and then add alky to the mix
FWD 3.8 intake with TB mounted to it, mounted on the 3.8, facing forward, since water hose is on the TB side; then route it to an IC then keep the stock turbo location, and have it route to the IC.. would make for an interesting diagram of how it looks..and those FWD 3.8 intakes are cheap enough too. look for 1984-1989 FWD GM cars with the 3.8s, i think all the lines from FWD A-body to the larger cars had them.....only the N and J bodies didnt get them, cept for swapped in. unless theres a notch on the intake for direction, i think it'll do fine mounted like that and you could have something different....just an idea.
I have two FWD intakes actually and it was a project a long time ago to put the throttle body on one. I started fitting the turbo bracket up on the intake and there is a pedestal that must be ground down for the turbo bracket to fit. I ground that pedestal down then the water jacket in the back interfered. I ground on it some and it actually ground through the water jacket (I didnt know it was for water when I was grinding on it back then). The intake is very tall and I dont know if the turbo would clear the back side of the intake. You may have to mod the intake like I modded the plenum on my motor.
Just thinking out loud from a little bit of experience.
hmmm random question, how tall is the FWD intake compared to the stock HA intake? i wasn't sure if the intakes were same height (the HA turbo idea for a FWD car lol...) hmm now theres some info for us to look at
