Retard

Got ECM upgrade, boost gauge, knock gauge, 42 lb. injectors and upgraded fuel pump. Fuel set for 42 lbs. . My problem is the scanmaster says engine retarding when I have my foot into it and I hear no knock. I have a cold air intake and LT-I Maf with a maf translator. Also running a turbotweak chip.
Any ideas to take care of retarding? I am reading to do something drastic,...
