Hello, I used to hang on this site alot but havn't posted for 2 yrs or so, good to be back, shoulda done it sooner. Got an '86 GN that my father and I share and take to shows, it is basically stock except for K&N, injectors and chrome underhood. The crazy thing is that my dad drives a Blue '98 Z28 with an auto and SS wheels, and I just sold my Cavalier for this awesome car, it is a Red Dodge SRT-4.
This SRT-4 is incredible! I love it! It is nearly as quick as the GN and handles well. Pegs the boost guage at 14lbs, just like the GN! The best part is that undercuts the price of those nice-but-expensive EVO's and STi's but can run with them and isn't saddled with 4wd. I have been a GM guy for a long time but I have to say Chrysler definately got it right. It feels like a solidly built car too.
So I guess the question is, what do you fellow Buick guys think about the SRT-4? Is it rice or do you like?
