reverse gear only

Parked the car last night everything was fine, this morning no go forward, well it will go on the flat very slow. Reverse does work... changed the fluid and filter but no different.
Any ideas?

Maybe the low sprag is slipping. If it goes forward OK in L1, then it's the sprag. If not, the forward clutch may have died.

L1, L2, D, OD all the same just creeps along on the flat, just above idle works best, like there is something slipping. I guess if it was the pump reverse wouldn't work either... I got to get up to speed on these tranny's.

Both magnets where "fuzzy" and after the fluid was out, there was some dark goo, probably my clutches.... I pulled the tranny yesterday and have the vigilante on a 5 gallon bucket upside down draining.. I'm sending it back to have it gone over. Replacing the cooler lines and the cooler. I have a built tranny to go in, I plan on rebuilding this tranny next Winter, and keep it for a spare.
