Man I feel sorry that you've dealt John Medieros. This guy is a grade A a**hole. He tried to rip my brother off about a year ago.
My brother bought a stock turbo ($175) from this prick. He promised my brother that there was absolutley ZERO shaft play, and how it was ported nicely.
It arrived in the ****tiest box that I have ever seen. It was actually
THREE boxes taped together. But the box was even prettier than the turbo

. The compressor housing looked like it was ported by an 8 year old. I mean it was freakin' pathetic. The compressor wheel had busted fins, and the wastegate was
dripping oil. In fact the whole inside of the inside of the box was covered in oil.
After looking at the turbo my brother contacted him immediately. He said that he would take the turbo back.
End of story right??
WRONG-
Once John got the turbo back, he called my brother. It was not a pleasent conversation. John said to my brother that the turbo was covered in oil when it arrived at his shop. My brother said "Well, No **** you sent it to me covered in oil so I sent it back covered in oil." John then said to my brother that HE (my bro.) had put it on his car and it didn't fix his problem so that is what made him want to return the turbo. There was never a problem with my brother's car this was just manifested in John's twisted con-artist mind. He argued with my brother for a solid 20 minutes on the phone and said that he was going to send the turbo back to my brother (AGAIN), and not give him his money back.
Well he never sent the turbo back for just 1 reason.-
My brother had paid with a credit card and this is what saved him. My brother just disputed the charge, and the credit card company (Capitol One), took care of this shmuck.
All of this crap for like 175 bucks.
Well sorry to get so long winded but I thought that you should know that your not the only one with a bad experience with this bastard. I would file charges against him if I were you.
HTH,
Ryan
