Please someone tell me more, please post a pic, price, where you get them, where they go on the car...

Sorry I am a newbie and want to learn.

Thanks, my car does not have one, it simply has a rubber line that goes off the turbo to the actuator.

Guess I should get one?

Also is this what I would need if I wanted to swap my stock downpipe for an external wastegated downpipe?

internal is the way to go. less problems

It never worked for me but my Racegate or Wastegate is near the crossover pipe and thats why it doesn't work.I think it would work with a THDP alot better:confused:

I just did get mine today along with my RJC power plate. I'll be installing it this weekend, then I'll get back with you.

Let me know.I don't know where it goes on my car because I have a Racegate.Maybe it won't work as well on my car:confused:

It goes between the little outlet on the front of the turbo compressor and the waste gate actuator.

I don't think thats right on my Racegate and type of set up.My Racegate or Wastegate is near the middle of the crosspipe.I believe the RJC goes somewhere near my Racegate. The stock style set up is I think what you posted.

Well I just got back from testing mine after the install. To be honest with you, and unless I am doing something wrong, I can't say I'm real impressed.

IMO my car feels no different now than before when I had nothing more than an adjustable waste gate actuator.

Before this mod I solely lived off of the adjustable waste gate actuator to adjust my boost.

They say you're supposed to be able to build up boost automatically until the desired PSI is hit, then it opens to allow the boost to tell the waste gate actuator "it's time to open the puck".

I have noticed in my situation, I have the boost set at 22 PSI, the gauge will hit 22 PSI and then suddenly drop off a few lbs. Hhhmm why is this?

On a good note, it is very handy to adjust the boost while the engine is hot. Since it can sit away from the turbo and engine I have found it's much easier to adjust provided you have a 9/16 and a 5/8 wrench on you, even while the engine is running.

Much easier than trying to reach down and burn your hands on the waste gate actuator rod.

Maybe you would like a new converter for the TE-44.The Vigilante 9.5 3200 single disc L/U is what Im going to get if I stay with the TE-44.There will definately be a difference in the spooling of the Turbo.

Alot of guys go with the 3200 stall on a 44 because of the instant spool. The stock converter can work ok on a 44 but my modified stock modified D5 3000 12 inch does not give me instant spool up like a stocker. Also the 3200 LU is still good for driveabilty on the street.I never heard any guy yet say that they didn't like there 3200 converter with the 44 Turbo.

Cool I will have to look into that. For now my car has I believe the stock converter and it still has the 3.42 gears in the rear.

There's no reason to go with 3:73 Gear's like I did.At the time I had a much bigger laggier Turbo.I have 28 Inch tall tire's so it brings me down in gearing a bit.The car is quicker with the 26 inch tire but it gets to quickly out of its power range.I called about the Vigilante converter and they were priced at $734.58 for the single disc LU converter. There's other good converter's out there but the Vigilante is popular.
