Well I just got back from testing mine after the install. To be honest with you, and unless I am doing something wrong, I can't say I'm real impressed.
IMO my car feels no different now than before when I had nothing more than an adjustable waste gate actuator.
Before this mod I solely lived off of the adjustable waste gate actuator to adjust my boost.
They say you're supposed to be able to build up boost automatically until the desired PSI is hit, then it opens to allow the boost to tell the waste gate actuator "it's time to open the puck".
I have noticed in my situation, I have the boost set at 22 PSI, the gauge will hit 22 PSI and then suddenly drop off a few lbs. Hhhmm why is this?
On a good note, it is very handy to adjust the boost while the engine is hot. Since it can sit away from the turbo and engine I have found it's much easier to adjust provided you have a 9/16 and a 5/8 wrench on you, even while the engine is running.
Much easier than trying to reach down and burn your hands on the waste gate actuator rod.
