It should be low mileage as it was only driven a 1/4 mi at a time !

I have a controller just like it but it is not from them. All of the controllers of that type are basically the same brass fittings, ball, spring, thumbscrew and tiny vent hole. I can do $25 shipped on mine from Chicago if you're interested.
