RJC MEGA Cooler

I like to throw a big thanks to Jason at RJC,
I had a little problem at BG and needed an Intercooler in a hurry.
Jason stepped up and lent me one of his 4.5" Intercoolers
Cooling results were very good to say the least.
3 days of racing and I never had a temp increase of more than 36*

So Otto since you did a back to back how did it compare to the BA?

I really dont have a straight answer to that,I did a Torque convertor change at the same time.
I can tell ya this,The best pass before the 2 changes was 9.39 at 147 and change,
The first pass after the 2 changes netted a 9.20 at 151.99
The PTC convertor let me cross the line 600 rpm less also.
But considering I was running 35#s of boost,36* rise isnt much.

did you leave the RJC 4.5 unit in there ? what were ya running before?

I returned it to Jason saturday after eliminations.
I hurt the motor when it leaned out.
I am parting the car out now and didnt need it any longer.

I was using a the first BA intercooler they made.
There was an end tank problem with it at the Nats.
They are talking care of it
