hi folks, Terry here,, i had the bad running 86 gn,, black smoke, engine stumbling like rev limt. kicking in.. well turns out i had a squirrel nest in the air cleaner??!! i just bought the car on 4-7-06 so really havent checked it out .. anyway i've installed plugs,wires,pcv, walboro 340,hot wire,adj. reg. , rail gauge, 3" bp, cat bypass, red armstrong chip, 160 stat., k&n filter and maf pipe--not to bad in 3 days!! also installed the rjc plate and DID NOT drill the egr hole in the plate, so i need help on what to plug off on/at the egr valve to help with my new rough idle.. or should i just drill the hole? thanks Terry

Drill the hole, or have a chip burned that compensates for no EGR.

Make sure you get a scan tool (Turbolink, scanmaster etc) to monitor knock.

Do not push the car in that condition - serious damage may result.

It sounds like the car has been sitting, change ALL fluids and fuel filter.
