Was wondering how long this should take to install and the difficulty of it. What is the correct way the plate should be placed in? Thanks

Brad

Under an hour to install. Only goes one way. Just be careful you don't strip out threads re-installing dog house. Aluminum threads aren't that strong.

The plate and gaskets can only fit one particular way. You'll see that once you've removed the doghouse. Just line up the bolt holes on gaskets and PP. Lots of info on this subject- just search on powerplate and you'll be reading to your hearts content.

Put mine in on Saturday, took about an hour. No problems with the bolts but was warned in advance about the striping problem. Also gave me a chance to remove some carbon build up in the throttel body, dog house and intake (170k on engine). Take a good look down into the intake also, you will be able to see where some porting of the heads will be needed. Took her out to the track on Sunday. No knock with 18 PSI of boost and Sunoco 94. Ran 13.3 at 99 mph, once I learn to actually launch I should be into the 12's easy. R/T .9's to 1.09's.
