I have a stock 87 GN with just the very basic bolt ons. (Exhaust/Intake/HV Oil pump/Walbro 340, ect.)

I have been contemplating purchasing a RJC Power Plate. I have performed a search and it is clear as day that the RJC power plate works and is worth the money. But my question is for a stock set up, like mine, would I need to do anything else other than bolt it on?

RJC Powerplate

Other than going to the hardware store and finding bolts that are about 6mm longer than the stock ones: NOPE! You will either be able to turn your boost up, or turn your fuel pressure down, because the two cylinders(5 and 6) that usually knock first, will be running a tad richer(much more balanced air flow). Either one will give you a slight increase in power. No muss, no fuss, no downside.

Then you've got just barely enough thread in the manifold for a correct torque reading(IF you used the gaskets). Unless your stock bolts were longer than mine(25mm). PS: Congrats on the NICE TIME!!
