Road noise coming from drivers side door?

So I went on a nice little road trip today and the road noise coming from the drivers door was really bad. Its always been there since I have bought the car never took notice to it.

It is not coming from the widow, I know this cause I was messing around with the window seal going down the road and it had a good seal. I checked the weatherstripping on the bottom of the door and it look fine to me, the door is very solid and shuts firmer and nicer then some of the late model cars I have ridden in latly, people always comment on how nice the door shut. Where should I be checking to find the noise? thank in advance!

Take the inner panel off the car and drive it. This will give you the best oportunity to see if something is loose or out of whack.
