Should you use lock tight on the bolts for the rocker arm shafts?

It wouldn't hurt, BUT, is not needed. I have never had a rocker shaft bolt come loose in 20+ years of building these things. Now, do not over torque the bolts, especially if you have a roller cam and are using replacement HD shafts from Sealed Power, or they WILL crack and break the shafts. If you have stock shafts and bolts, just torque them and you'll be fine. If you have a roller cam, use roller rockers for the best results. They come with solid shafts, and you can torque them up.
