Roller Cam End-Play/Front Cover Modification

After going through the procedure of setting the end play of my roller cam........there has to be a more accurate/professional set-up. Once set, if the front cover is disturbed, kiss your end play settings goodbye because the front cover gasket gets squeezed a different amount each time you tighten it down. This is another inconsistant varible that could be eliminated. The front cover should have a removable plate where the roller cam button is, this way the cam end play could easily be adjusted by simply removing the plate instead of the whole front cover, which invites trouble not only for thr front cover but also the oil pan gasket.

After searching it looks like DonWG has already done the engineering work. Seperate removable covers for the cam and the front seal. Why don't one of our fine vendors talk with Don and produce the product? He has already done the hard part.
