Running 4 front 16x8 OEM GTA wheels with this brake setup

Did you check the link to the 11" brake upgrade? I've spent most of the day trying to figure out how to get rid of the mushy pedal but at just about any speed it will just about throw you through the wind sheild.

Yeah i had checked it earlier, but it was prior to you posting about being able to go to 13" vette setups or larger on the less expensive side of things. Checked out the thread link again and seen the latest post to it.

Charlie, Are the rotors that you put on your build 12" or 11"? It says above that you got 2 12" 4th gen camaro rotors, reason I ask. I know with my 12" rotors they are very very close.

There are 2 different rotors on the 4th gen F body cars. The early ones are 11" and the second ones are 11.9". Both are 1.25" thick. I got lucky and got 2 stock GM rotors off a 2000 Camaro at a swap meet for $10. He wanted $10 each but I told him what I was doing and pointed out that it would be less weight he'd have to take home, so he gave me a deal.So far, including the knuckles and hubs, I've got less than $200 in the set up. Just have to get the mushy feel out of the pedal and then it should be a go.

New Wilwood 12" rotors with the wheels mounted...fit it good, braking is excellent, and the appearance is nice and clean

Thanks, I think this is a pretty nice upgrade if you want to go to the aftermarket side of brake upgrades instead of using a setup like Charlie just finished. No where was there a post about putting a big brake upgrade 12" or over established (that I could find) using the WilWood or any other brakes for that matter on a 16x8 GTA front wheel, so now we know. Anything experimental I try to post because I know what a pain it is when you cannot search for answers, forgot to put pictures of the modification of the spindles, so here are those pics as well
