With my set up..f/p @46 lbs, 20 psi.. can only get 765 o2's on top of 3rd. What do I need to do to get in the 800's? Am I running out of pump or do I need to add more fuel to the chip?
 
I'm interested as well, our combos are very similar. I am getting all kinds of knock at WOT and part throttle. I was told that my chip should not need reworking after I put my ported and polished heads and 204/214 cam. But I don't see why it wouldn't need more fuel put into ther chip. I ordered a Testa chip and am hoping for the best. In your case, i don't think you are out of fuel with the pump. You are running 109, which should be higher with the combo i would think. That tells me that the chip is not right. Have you made major mods and not have the chip reburned? Good luck.
 
Assuming your pump is good and you don't have a clogged filter or kinked line or something of that nature your problem would have to be in the chip . I went 10.90 with a 307 pump and 50's. What chip are you running?
 
If you aren't getting KR then what is the problem?

02s aren't the be all and end all of tuning. Get an EGT gauge and tune with that... it'll help make sense of both numbers.

I've always figured if it was pump or supply restriction when you first get into it it should be fine and lean out as you go since it has no reserve other than whats already in the rail and line pressure

I'm in same boat 20# boost i have great 02's but higher I go from there the lower the 02 gets

I'm getting around 730 02's at 23# which is what I've been running


at 109 mph you shouldnt be running out of fuel at all
when my car was still hotair I was running 105 trap speed with stock fuel pump and stock injectors with stock chip.

I went 127 on 50# injecters and single 340 pump but now I'm out of fuel at 125-126 with 75# injectors and duel pumps :confused:
 
First off, dump the 20W50 and put 10W30 in your engine. You could end up pushing the bearings out of your turbo with that heavy of an oil. Simply looking at the info you've provided and equating it to sea level where I race, your chip is too rich in the bottom end[particularily at 46psi baseline fp] and too lean at the top. 46lbs fp is lots and lots if your at sea level approx and your 60' says with that high a fp you're dogging it at the line, possibly due to overfueling. There's nothing wrong at all with 765 at the top of 3rd with 20lbs of boost, but as mentioned above an O2 reading is about as trustworthy as a hooker on a Greek Freighter. Get an EGT and be done with O2's.

You must have something wrong with your fuel pump or you need to get your chip re-worked. I run a TA62 turbo, hot-wired 307 and 50lb Inj. I have managed to run 11.12 E.T at 124 mph. This was with 720 02 reading and 0 knock, C16 fuel. I've just about maxed out my injectors and fuel pump at this speed. So you still have a way to go. I would look into a different chip.:cool:
 
Both you guys have ported heads and bigger cams which need more fuel, due to the increased fuel flow. SpeednV6 how much boost are you running? That combo should be at 115mph, not 109
 
What does your fuel pressure show at the finish line?

What kinda chip?

Are your injectors showing static?

O2s don't mean much other than in the crudest sense. You need a bit more info to guide you.
