I had my plugs closed down to .025 to diagnose another problem. Yesterday i opened them back up to .032 and i went from 11.2 ish down to 10.8 ish on the wide band. so I'm guessing that the hotter spark is burning more of the fuel now??

not much data to draw a conclusion but i will tell you that the plug doesn't burn all the mixture its only responsible to ignite the fuel that's in front of it at the spark ...the fuel burning away from the plug takes care of the rest of the fuel in the cylinder... so if its igniting the fuel it will burn the same regardless of the gap,
if ignition doesn't occur you're guaranteed a change in A/F
