S-10 Alumium Driveshaft

What are your thoughts on using this driveshaft? I have heard it is 4'' in diameter and a half inch shorter than the stocker. Not sure of the wall thickness or the joints used? Would this offer an upgrade in strength?

probably not a strength upgrade, but it would add a bit of lightness..

which S10's got the aluminum shaft? i've only seen them on full size trucks.

My 2000 S-10 with the ZR-2 package came with the 4" aluminum driveshaft.
Its a nice piece..but I wonder if it would even fit a GN ?
