good morning guys/gals

I have a silly question but gona ask anyhow.I'm swapping out my heads for some ported irons . I am ready to installed the new heads but have a question Should i coat my new gaskets with anything to help them seal any better? BTW i will be using arp studs when going back together. I just don't want any coolant leaks or anything .

TIA guys/gals

My buddy had Dan Strezo machine the reciever groover out of his gn1 heads and he highly recommends the cometic gaskets.

Installed a GM graphite head gasket
on my GN 3 month ago bone
dry and no problem no leak.
I used laquer thinner for cleaning
head and block.

I put a valley pan gm intake gasket with a thin coat
of copper spray silicon on both side (mating surface only)
I dont trust the little porosity on the head and intake.

I stretch my arp stud 6 time before
final installation.

IMO

Claude
