S10 and a GN

Im taken my 99 S10 and putting a GN motor into it after a turn of events happen...I wanted to know if this has been done and if the GN 3.8 will clear my hood and so fourth...Any help is needed as for this is my time for a project on this level..

Wow, your ride is quite a bit different... Did you check my web? The whole build is there for all to see. When you get into a specific problem, let me know and I'll see if I can help.

I still have the sticker file, and can make them for $15.00 each plus postage...

Are you gonna put an 84 motor in? If so I would hold off for an 86 or 87. JMO

I have a 86 model motor...I have a 84 t-type...

sounds as if this has become alllll tooo popular all of a sudden.

if this is your first time.... its gonna be fun. just wait till the heater box to exhaust comes to play.

but I agree.... might as well go with the 86/87 intercooled motor to be worth th trouble.

and I imagine you need to know what parts to keep the stick you need too right?

which 5 speed are you running now? the stock GM T5?

I may be wrong but I don't think they used T-5's in S-10's after 1993: I'm almost positive the T-5 was reserved for 2.5 and 2.8 liter engines, both which were not used after 1993. Most likely if it's the stock tranny it's a NV3500, but neither it nor the T-5 would probably live long behind a turbo 6 Buick.

Is fun but have run into a few thing that we had to modife.
But so far so good and looks nasty..

Yeah, looks like a real tight fit. Looks like you used the stock buick mounts & then fab’d up the mounts on the truck crossmember?
