Just wanted to see, some pics of GN's or Regals done in Satin Black, or Flat Black paint finishes.

Opinion needed too... if done this way should one go completely 'Blacked" out on the trim and molding or stay with the chrome trim and stuff and look ok?

Thanks

i 2nd that I am painting my care satin black this winter. I have read about the a few people using SEM hot rod black SEM Products - Catalog and also John Deere blitz black http://www.crankshaftcoalition.com/wiki/John_Deere_Blitz_Black_paint as well as http://www.kirkerautomotive.com/images/PDF/Hot_Rod_Black_8_1_06.pdf Has anyone used any of these and how did you like them? I know its a fad right now but I think it looks bad ass and until I can afford a real nice paint job by a pro I am going to tackle this one myself.

turbobully

Heard about SEMS too..

But SEMS TRIM BLACK the 1 Gallon version #39141, what I've heard and read so far, that it dries quick (low flash time) and 3-4 coats (passes) should do it.

One of the people I talked to uses this exclusively, a cheap gravity fed gun, w/ 1.4 tip, 30 psi I think.

He's done a cool 66 Chevy truck on the Web that SEMS somehow seems to link back too.

heres the link

He swears by it....
