LMFAO...Is there a sheep on the passenger seat?

it was supposed to be a license run....

wish he only stayed in the gas longer :( , then it would have been a 7.8 second GN

and was supposed to be a 1/2 track run, not bad for 1/2 track??
yea, I agree, full pass will be in the 7's fer sure!
still impressive!
was good to see everyone , and listen to the excuses, LOL

Don,
I only saw your last run of 9.20. It looked very smooth and sounded good.
Did you get to run earlier in the day?
Jeff

First run, the crank sensor got kicked out of position.
Second run, I got out of it because of a perceived loss of traction on the top of first. Turned out the mixture was just coming around at about the 50 foot mark and the engine rpm just rose quickly as it twisted the converter tighter. The car launches different after clearing out that blockage in the exhaust. That run was a 9.7x @ 146.

I have a lot of fuel transitions going on in the midrange, nitrous turning on at 100 kPa and off (2) at 199 kPa, auxiliary fuel rail coming on at 154 kPa (1) in the middle of the nitrous, and I purposely have the electronic injector pw about 35 to 40 percent rich to cover any lean spikes. And there are lean spikes from two of these transitions. At about 5200 rpm and 260 kPa the mixture leans to the correct mixture and the engine just goes nuts. I got a good datalog from the weekend on the last run. It gave me a clear picture of where I need to start contouring the midrange fueling to get a smoother launch. The rich patch at the midrange wasn't as noticeable with the exhaust blockage.
