hey everyone, im a newbee and im lookin for a scan tool for my 81 regal ltd 231 2bbl. ive been looking on ebay for one and have heard of the otc 2000, which was the type i have been looking for. i came across another one on ebay that looked more simple and need some advice. does this scanner do the job as well as the otc or does the otc have better featured etc... i would also like to know what features the otc has that this snap on scanner doesnt have.

if you look at the pics closely, you can see the different things the scanner will measure. thanks for any help, and i apologize if i have posted in the wrong section. OH! and i have less than 20 minutes to bid on it so i would appreciate quick answers. thanks

ok, so the bidding ended and i decided not to bid on it. im looking for an otc 2000 thats ending in a few days. but not to completely waste this post, i was wondering if someone would she a lil llight on the what exactly the scanner scans. that probably sounds preety dumb, but my last buick was a 78 and didnt have all this ecm sh*t to worry about. being a newbee, i am also looking forward to learning a lot about my buick and a potential conversion to being turbocharged n all that. if not, ive been thinking bout dropping in a 403 olds that i have layin in my garage. thanks for any help
