Scanmaster 2.2

I installed the new 2.2 chip into my Scanmaster today. My Powerlogger is working but the Scanmaster is not. I start the car and it displays SCANMASTER 2.2, then PL to the far left and then it goes blank. I did disconnect it from the ECM data wire and connected it to the PL connection unit. The PL connection unit is wired to the PL. Any suggestions?

Sounds like a loose connection some where , check your power source and gd to the SM

Did you set the SM options in PLC?

I did the two suggestions provided. Same result. I even put the old chip back in and it worked fine. Powerlogger still works too. Any other thoughts?

Where do you have the scanmaster data wire connected?

I did disconnect it from the ECM data wire and connected it to the PL connection unit. The PL connection unit is wired to the PL with the cord.

Okay... Got it working. However, the far left digit is not working on the SM. Any suggestions?

You nailed it. A pin broke off. Was able to fix it. Thank you for your advice.
