scanmaster & powerlogger

I bought the powerlogger a few months back and just getting around to installing it. What is needed to get the scanmaster and PL to work together. Would like to get the faster data stream benifit using the scanmaster when I dont want to use a laptop.

the update chips are almost ready. You install a new chip inside the Scanmaster and connect its data wire to the SCM terminal on the Scanmaster connection unit.

You also need to download a file into the PowerLogger, but its no big deal.

This will work with the 2.0 version and the 2.1 version scanmaster?

Check this thread out on FT's forum.. Only 2.1's that light up "2.1" on the right side. Apparently there maybe a few 2.0's that have the right chip in them as well... TurboDonnie explained it pretty well..
