scanmaster problem

Hey guys, just went to start the car and on key on i noticed the sm lit very dim with the SCN 2.2 and then the PL 11.9??? Never seen that before, the # was jumping around almost like it was voltge??? and then a few seconds later six dot light up across the screen. And it goes blank. So far im stumped ive checked all the obvious things connections and what not, just havent checked to see if powerlogger is communicating with the laptop...any info/ideas are welcome .......thanks Mike

Ok powerlogger is working, double checked everything again even tried different spots in the fuse block, also it was working fine yesterday and last night when I put it away it was purchased from turbo tweak in 2/2011...Mike

Just a thought, but is your voltage light bulb coming on when you key on? If not you could be just running on battery.

yes its coming on and all else seems normal except the SM operation...Mike

Well last night I was looking at a totally different ground...not the scanmaster ground lol, so today I figured it out fairly quick with a clear train of thought...Mike
