Screen Removal

Did a search on this and I got conflicting info so.....I have Erics (TT) street chip in my car, do I need to remove one of the screens??? Like I said this is a street chip as my car is a stocker. Thanks and any tips that I would need if removal is necessary???

I removed one of mine with Erics chip and it hasnt effected idle or tip in any. I dont really have any tips except be careful so you dont hit one of the "readers".
