Hey, guys I finally got my replacement headers and I was wondering what you guys use to seal them up...I was told the stockers have no gaskets??????

I would like to get some aluminum crush gaskets for it, does anyone make them for our cars??? Also what about the crossover any gaskets there???

High temp copper RTV. Works great for me, no leaks and helps with small flange inperfections. Let it set to at least skin over condition before install. Torque the bolts to factory spec.

I've gone to cheapy stock 3.8 exhaust gaskets. The ones that are metal on one side and gasket material on the other about $5 a set. I use a full set (two gaskets) on each side. Working for me. Just another way to a good seal. ;)

If the flanges are beefy and straight, you can probably get away with the high temp RTV sealant, but if you are in doubt... Felpro 1400's are the way to go.
There is no gasket between the crossover pipe and headers.

Thanks for the info guys...I'm not comfortable using "goop" on anything before the turbo, I prefer gaskets...Looks like fel-pro 1400's are it for me...Are they made out of regular gasket material or are they metal backed...I really don't know if I like the idea of exposing "goop" or gasket material to 1600+ degree temps.

gasket

Felpro 1400---Don/t believe aluminum crush would work as aluminum melts @ 1260 degrees
