How do I remove the seat blet retractors on my 87 GN?

the belts in my 79 are controlled by the black door swich ar the rear of the door jam. mine was broken so it would constantly pull on the belt, i replaced the broken swich and now the belt ratchets open so its not hella tight. i dont quite know if thats what you were loking for or if you want to take out the belts all together..

For the front seat belt there are two Phillips head screws near the black portion that protrudes into the door jamb. Remove them and they will pull out.

Any tricks to installing the new ones? I was told that the seat belt needs to be disconnected from the seat and retracted before new ones can go in...
