I have a set of 84-85 GN aluminum wheels with goodyear tires on them. Theres about 60% tread on the tires and they are in good shape. One rim has some curb rash but nothing major. They could be cleaned up but they are in good condition. My question is, would it be worth the shipping and hassle to sell the tires on the rims or am i better off keeping the tires for my t-type and selling just the rims? I think people will want just the rims and, put their own tires on. What do you guys think?

Offer the wheels and tires as local pick up for awhile. If they don't sell, then go ahead and remove tires and sell just the wheels. Pick up some tire boxes from wheel/tire shops for shipping.

Advertise rims and tires locally like on Craigslist and be done with it.

Thing is theres not too many GN and T-types around here. Tomorrow im dissmounting the tires, glass beading the rims, polishing the polished parts, painting the black parts then clearing teh whole thing. Should make a nice restored rim for someone with beat up ones.

Post some pics when they're done. I've got a set of perfect T wheels I'm doing the same thing to, but so far I only have them glass beaded.

Oh they come out nice. Ive done a set of thoes as well but not cleared them unfortunately. Im going to use a Matte clear so it maintains the stock low luster look. For the t-wheels. Gloss clear for the GN wheels.
