If you were to build a stage motor to run low 8's @ 160ish, what cam profile is needed?
Duration .050, lift, lobe separation, etc..

Does anybody know for sure?

We have a 267/267 .650ish in the twin car on a 110 centerline. It's been 8.40 @ 163.9.

On another note:
A buddy of mine is experiencing something new now that he has reached 160+mph. Tire shake. He is running a progressive N2O and he says that as soon as the progressive system hits 100% the tires shake violently. He has tried to soften the system up by having it come on later down the track but it didn't help. He says that he can feel the tires digging (trying to get traction) but they are just rolling over themselves. Do you know what the "normal" fixes are to fix this type of problem? I haven't seen a video to diagnose Exactly what is going on, only what he has told me.
