Servo apply pin adjustment

what is the least amount of servo plunger I should use. I'm trying to make it were the servo does not have to reach so far to apply second so I can get a better 2-3 shift. I'm looking at shimming the apply pin some more but I dont want to go overboard and fry a band, Any advice will be great. Thanks

0.080-0.100" will work. If I'm not mistaken, I believe Bruce goes down to 0.030" clearance.

0.080-0.100" ? thats is the total travel from servo pin resting postion to band apply correct? Thanks a bunch!!!
