ses light never lights up

what would cause this? my dash was apaert when i bought the car , as well as many sensors and other components. i am trying to put it back together now. it won't turn over yet, but i think the starters bad.

Start at the easiest place first. Bad bulb?

Check for the presence of a light driver module. This card plugs into the harness just to the left of the glove box. It lights up the check engine light when there is a bad ECM fuse or a computer failure. I have a spare if you need to replace yours.
