SFI Flywheel

Ok I am ready to have my motor bal. and I am thinking that I need a SFI Flywheel.

1 Do I need a SFI Flywheel or will a stock do me just fine????

2 If I do need one do I need it before I get the motor bal.?????

3 How much do they cost???????

I plan on running low 11's maybe get in the 10's someday where is the cut off on NHRA for the SFI???????

Any input would help, thanks

you don't technically have a flywheel...you have a flexplate...stock is legal to 9.99

if your crank is internally balanced, you'll prolly need an SFI flexplate and SFI balancer.......JW makes the flexplates and BHJ makes the balancers (NHRA requires an SFI balancer at 11.99 and down)

i thought the flexplate was 10.99?
the tech guys asked me the other day when i told him i had a 10sec car.(no cage so i had to tell him something)

Yes i do SIr, But shes a 9second machine

just need the balancer at 10.99

flexplate at 9.99

need a flywheel at 10.99 for man cars plus shield
