Shallow vs Deep P.T.S. pan

Pros and Cons for the PTS shallow vs. deep pans on primarily street driven GN?

Shallow pan (http://www.2004rperformancecenter.com/mcartfree/product.asp?intProdID=35) seems same depth as stock pan, Deep pan (http://www.2004rperformancecenter.com/mcartfree/product.asp?intProdID=35) would hang about 2" lower.

It seems the deep pan might hang lower than the frame rails and other parts (?). Would this be asking for big trouble on the street ?

I have the short one on my car and love it...

I have seen a deep one under BWeavy's car and seems to hang a lil low for me but i drive kindacrazy

Deeper has a deeper sump and more fluid both of which are better if you can deal with the lower hanging pan.

I have the shallow with the rear sump,very nice piece.
but i just ordered a bat trans brake and this required the deep pan so in my case i have to buy twice.

I've got the deep pan. I don't think it hangs any lower than the catalytic converter does.
