Does anyone know who makes sheet metal valve covers for stock style heads (GN1R)? I know Hogans makes them but not really looking to spend $600 on a pair of valve covers. Any links or shop numbers would be appreciated. Thanx.

Here is a link to Bob James site. These valve covers need to be modified a bit on the inside. They have a little too much material where the gasket is that binds on the spring and push rod. You can easily shave it down to fit nicely on the head. For the money, they are a sexy valve cover. Tell Bob that you want a holes drilled for breathers and grommets and he will set you up. They make notched ones for cars that have a heater box, or regular ones without a heater box. Make sure you let him know which ones you want.

Does anyone else make a set that is a direct fit without modification?
